Being ‘Cathedral Ready’ means wearing the school uniform correctly.

Uniform Requirements

The Cathedral School Uniform

Formal Uniform – Years 4 to 12
Boys – navy shorts (trousers for Years 10 to 12 with black or navy socks), black belt, white short-sleeved shirt and school tie
Girls – navy dress with white collar and shoe string tie, black leather lace-up shoes and white calf-length socks
Formal hat (Years 7 to 12). Navy hat (Years 4 to 6)
School and House badges

Formal Uniform – Prep to Year 3
Boys – navy shorts and navy/white check shirt
Girls – navy skort and navy/white check blouse
Black leather lace-up shoes, white calf-length socks
Navy hat

General Day Uniform – Prep to Year 12
Boys – navy shorts and navy/white check shirt
Girls – navy skort and navy/white check blouse
Black leather lace-up shoes, white calf-length socks
Formal hat (Years 7 to 12). Navy hat (Prep to Year 6)

House Sports Uniform – Prep to Year 12
Boys and girls – navy sports shorts with school logo and House polo shirt (Bede, Chatham, More and Langton)
Sports shoes (good quality runners or cross trainers – no black soles), white calf-length socks
Navy sports hat

School jumper for cooler weather (no other jumper is permitted)

All uniforms and stationery items required by students are available at The School Locker Garbutt store, Shop 6/161 Duckworth Street, Domain Central (near Bunnings).

Parents can also shop online through The School Locker.

Sizing is available on each product, as well as a video demonstrating sizing instructions.

Email townsville@theschoollocker.com.au or call on 07 4430 8500 and School Locker will process a family’s order over the phone. To avoid paying a delivery fee, the School Locker can deliver it to the school weekly, or as required if urgent.

The uniform range is designed to offer a broad range of sizes to suit children from prep all the way up to senior high school students. Each item in the range is marked to display the sizing range (for example Unisex, Girls, Boy) available so that you can refer to the correct size chart below.
