Prep Open Day
Investing in your child’s education in the early years cultivates healthy habits for learning, and develops mindsets, positive relationships, and character strengths.
Our Prep Open Day is a special classroom experience for kindergarten-aged children and their parents to find out what the first year of school offers at The Cathedral Junior School.
If your child is starting Prep in 2024 and currently attending Kindergarten at another school or center, we invite you to experience what The Cathedral School offers. Please reserve your place at our next Prep Open Day on Friday 2 June 2023.
2024 Open Day
Have you ever wondered what lies beyond our front gate? Come and see for yourself at our annual Open Day.
On Open Day you’ll have the opportunity to explore our campus and meet the staff and students that make Cathedral such a special place to learn. Be sure to attend our Junior, Middle and Senior School information sessions to learn about the academic curriculum, discover the range of extracurricular opportunities and find out about our pastoral care program.
A highlight of Open Day is a ‘behind the scenes’ tour hosted by our current Cathedral School students. Not only will you be guided around our serene campus but they will share with you stories about their very own student experience along the way! Don’t miss participating in a classroom workshop and take some time to relax under our towering 160 year old rain trees while enjoying some special performances.
Our 2024 Open Day will be held on Saturday 11 May, 9am – 12pm.

Virtual Open Day
The Cathedral School’s Virtual Open Day is a customised online event that is designed for you to explore our study options. All from the comfort of your own home.
Our Virtual Open Day is your opportunity to hear from our school leaders, get involved in online conferences and hear from current students about their experiences.
Year 7 Open Day
Students entering Year 7 in 2024 are invited to experience a Cathedral School education firsthand.
Prospective students will be immersed in a Year 7 classroom and encouraged to get involved in engaging activities. The Year 7 Open Day is an excellent way for students to get a feel for our school, make new friends and get to know the Year 7 teachers.

Year 10 Open Day
Students entering Year 10 in 2024 or 2025 are invited to experience a Cathedral School education firsthand at our Year 10 Open Day.
This is your chance to learn firsthand what a Cathedral education offers and make an informed decision about your Senior School years.
The Year 10 Open Day for 2023 will be held Monday 24 July.
Boarding Experience
The Boarding Experience provides a great insight into boarding life and a chance to meet our wonderful staff and friendly boarders. The Boarding Experience 2024 is scheduled to coincide with our School Open Day on Saturday 11 May and students have the option to stay overnight and depart on Sunday 12 May.
The 2024 Boarding Experience begins at 12pm Saturday 11 May and concludes 2pm Sunday 12 May.
