The Cathedral School’s Scholarship program aims to encourage and recognise students in their pursuit of excellence. The Scholarship Program is intended to provide students with the financial support to further their education as well as reward achievement and effort.

Those students who receive scholarships will have exemplary character and will share the values of our school community. These students will exhibit qualities such as integrity, leadership, initiative, care and compassion for others, and personal responsibility.

Scholarship Enquiries

The Cathedral School’s Scholarship Program recognises and supports students who demonstrate excellence in academics, arts, or sport. Scholarships reward achievement, effort, and strong personal character — including leadership, integrity, and compassion.

Scholarships are generally offered to students entering Year 7, with limited availability for Years 8–12. Successful applicants may receive partial tuition fee remission (typically 10–40%), as determined by the Principal.

All scholarships are subject to an annual review to ensure recipients continue to meet the school’s performance and character expectations. Scholarship offers are not deferrable and may be suspended only in special circumstances, such as temporary family relocation or exchange programs.

Applications must be submitted by the published closing date to scholarships@cathedral.qld.edu.au
