Important: Returning users of the enrolment contract
If you (or the student’s family) have previously completed an online enrolment contract, the system will recognise the email address used.
- When prompted, please select “Add another” to create a new contract for this student.
- Do not attempt to reuse a previous contract, as this may result in being redirected back into an existing record.
- Using “Add another” ensures a new, correct enrolment contract is created and avoids any email loop issues.

Placement Testing
Students may choose to sit any Recognised English Language Proficiency Test. The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James will assess applications for entry based on satisfactory test results. Please refer to our Entry Requirements Policy for details on test score equivalents. Alternatively, students may complete an online placement test organised by The Cathedral School and supervised by the agent. This test has been developed for English as a Second Language (ESL) learners and takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete.
The placement test includes four components:
- Writing Test – 15 minutes, handwritten on paper. The agent is responsible for timing this section.
- EAL (English as an Additional Language) – 30 minutes, online multiple-choice test.
- Non-Verbal Reasoning – 30 minutes, online multiple-choice test.
- Mathematics – 30 minutes, online multiple-choice test.
Each of the three online tests is individually timed by the testing platform. The timer begins when you click to start each test. Once the allocated time expires, the test automatically closes and cannot be reopened.
Supervision requirements:
- Test papers must remain confidential until the test commences.
- Agents may supervise the test in person (preferred) or online.
- Please refer to the EAL Testing – Supervisor Instructions for full details.
