Rugby Academy
The Cathedral School Rugby Academy includes both Rugby League and Rugby Union codes.
Students can participate from Age 9 in the Rugby League Academy (Junior School), and from Year 7 through to Year 12 in the Rugby League Academy (Middle and Senior School).
Rugby Union Academy is available from Year 7 through to Year 12.

REGISTRATIONS
Come Try Session:
Term 1 – Week 3 or 4. No need to register, just come along.
Season Registration:
Term 1 Week 4 or 5. Accept invitation in Parent Lounge (Events & Payments).

Michael Porter - Coach
Physical Education Coordination – Junior School
Michael has been coaching primary school rugby league teams for approximately 25 years, and has held various roles at Townsville Brothers over the past ten years including assistant coach and Leaguesafe. This includes the assistant coaching role of the U15 team in 2023. Michael was also the assistant coach of City U11 Townsville Representative team in 2019.

Interested students attend a meeting scheduled in Week 1 or early Week 2.
