The Cathedral School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its 2024 graduates, whose exceptional ATAR results have cemented the school’s reputation as a leader in academics and vocational education across North Queensland. All 105 Year 12 students successfully attained their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), with over half also earning a Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualification.
This year’s cohort demonstrated excellence with the following QCAA recognitions:
- QCAA Certificate of Academic Commendation: 7 students (for achieving A grades in six general subjects).
- QCAA Subject Achievement Commendation: 3 students (for earning 100% in a subject).
Remarkably, 41% of graduates achieved an ATAR above 90, significantly surpassing the state average of 25%. These impressive results reflect the dedication and hard work of the students and the exceptional support of The Cathedral School’s teaching staff. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
