Cathedral Combine crowns 2026 champions

The inaugural Cathedral Combine has wrapped up, with students across the Middle and Senior School putting their speed, agility, power, flexibility, strength and reaction time to the test.
The brand-new school-wide event was open to students regardless of their sporting background, providing everyone with the opportunity to compete across a series of measurable athletic challenges while earning valuable points for their House.
Students took on seven events: the 20m Sprint, 4 × 10m Agility Shuttle, Vertical Jump, Broad Jump, Flexibility Reach Test, Max Push-Ups in 30 seconds and Reaction Time Test.
Each participant received a personalised results card showing their individual scores and percentile rankings, providing a snapshot of their athletic performance and a benchmark against students across the school.
The competition culminated with the announcement of the 2026 Cathedral Combine champions, with Bede House taking out the overall House Award.
